I was led to Christ at the age of 28 and since that time I have had a desire to serve God and a burden for lost souls. My wife is younger than me. She was saved at the age of 13 and has faithfully served the Lord in our Baptist church. My formal training came from Missionary Randall Stirewalt and several of the national pastors who work with Final Frontiers. What they taught me I have now taught to other men. There are four men pastoring now whom I trained and I have started two churches on my own. My wife and I are from the Luhya Tribe so we speak our native tongue as well as Swahili and English. I work among the tribes called Luo, Luhya, Kalenjin, and Teso. Often I work alone but I also spend a great time working with the other pastors in our fellowship. By God’s help I have led 180 souls to Christ and baptized 100 of them.
My family's living needs are $100 monthly but we receive no regular help at all. The church is poor and rural. We have had a drought for several years and also two years of civil war and fighting. There are many displaced people and many who have no jobs. Many go hungry and my family is among them. In order to survive I do peasant farming twenty hours each week. This is time that I could spend better in winning souls or training young men for the ministry. If you are able to support us that will be my reality. Praise God. My wife also helps me in the ministry working with the ladies and children but she has to give some time to cleaning the houses of others to help us have food to eat.

I was saved in 1989 after being invited to attend a church service by one of my friends. I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to accept Jesus, which I did. I was baptized and attended church. In 1992 I entered Bible school and received my graduation certificate in 1995. During the 1992 tribal crashes, several couples began coming on bicycles to my area and as we talked, we decided to start a church. It was then I realized that God was going to use me as a pastor. ...Read More
