My parents, uncles and grandparents were heathen people; they lived in a very far forest of the community. One day an uncle who was 17 years old accepted Jesus Christ, later when I was 2 years old my parents accepted Jesus Christ too. So I grew in Christian home, my father took me to the meetings and to the Sunday school. It was there when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior.
My father read the Bible said that the first son should serve the Lord. Then he told me there are a lot of people that need to listen of the Gospel. So he said I want you go to study the Bible, and then you can go to preach the word of God. So I studied 4 years in the Bible Institute, and after that I went to work in the Lord's work. Actually I am now working in the Bible Institute teaching others as well as preaching.
My wife was brought up as a Roman Catholic but after hearing the Gospel, she converted to Christianity.
Already we have trained ready about 300 church leaders. Most of them prach to the Mam tribal peoples since we are all Mayan/Mam. I am willing to continue training more leaders to his work.
I have also started a church. For ten years I had worked in churches and also as a translator for the Mam language since I am fluent in Spanish and Mam. I have also baptized about one hundred converts.
