It was evening on August 28, 1991, when I found myself on the altar after hearing the sermon preached by one of our pastors in men's fellowship at Mekuteno Bible Baptist Church. I was not married at the time.
After being shown the Roman's Road of salvation, I trusted Jesus. How happy I was after being assured for my salvation and the fallowing year 1992, I joined the Bible Institute of West Pokot and graduated in 1994. I served as assistant pastor for 4 years and then God called me to be the pastor of this young church, here at Chebarus Bible Baptist Church. I have prayed that God will still ignite fire in my heard to love sinners and win them for Christ and have a vision for the ministry.

My wife was saved on August 28, 199. She is very happy working for the Lord. She says that although she is poor in material things, she is rich spiritually and believes that there is no work that you can compare with our ministry. Her prayer is that she will be faithful in the ministry til Jesus comes.

I have stared a church and trained many lay workers in the church. Though our ministry, I have lead about 600 people to Christ.

I have to work outside the ministry to provide for my family. Some days I find work to do and some days I do not. If you will sponsor me, it will help me to feed and clothe my family and give me more time to work just for Jesus.

I was born a Muslim and was the only boy in a family with 4 girls. I was so loved and treasured by my family that I could do no wrong and no one could rebuke me or question me. When I was 14 I visited a church on a Sunday morning out of curiosity to see how the Christians worshiped. There I saw a beautiful girl who was signing praises to Jesus.i determined that I would speak to her at the end of the service. The service went on and on and seemed like a waste of time until the preaching started. The pastor spoke about the power of the cross and I was the first person to respond in the invitation. I was ashamed of how I had been thinking about the girl and gave my life to serve the Lord. That was 1994. One week later I joined the choir. IN 1997 I began Bible training and in 1999 pastored my first church. I was 19years old. Since then I have been involved in church planting.
