My wife was saved as a girl and grew up in a Christiain family. We were married in 1986 and she has always been a great help to me in the ministry.
It was on the morning of May 22, 1985 that a man named Pastor David Gagula, a Final Frontiers preacher, came to visit me in my home. He introduced me to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I did not hesitate even though I had never been involved in Christian functions before. Since that day the Lord has been so good to me. After learning more from the Word of God, I felt a burden especially for my fellow Pokot tribesmen because they are living a totally primitive life without the knowledge of the true God. After some time that God had been speaking to me, I gave my life to the Lord in total surrender in mid 1986. I went to Uganda and took over the church as pastor. I love God and have committed my whole life unto Him and His service for His glory.
Since that time I have trained two men who are now pastors and started a church on my own, then I became involved with a group of preachers and now we go out as teams to start new churches. Already we have started four more from my 455 converts. They are among the tribal groups I work with such as the Baluhya, Kalenjin, Kikuyu, Turkana and my Pokots. I speak Pookot, Kiswahili and English.
I provide for my family by selling used clothes in the market about 35 hours per week. This provides me wiht 25% of my family's needs.With support I can serve the Lord in the market preaching every day rather than selling clothes. We live in a two room house made of mud with a grass roof. We live as our people do and exist to serve their spiritual needs.
Report Files
Every 4 months sponsorship funds are sent to the preachers. With it goes a Missionary Report Form for each one to complete and return to our office. After compilation of statistics they are forwarded by mail or email to the sponsors. Below are past report forms from this preacher. They have been modified to protect the financial data of the sponsor.
