I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior when I was 20 years old.As I grew spiritually, after seven years God led me to go to Bible school where the young people trained for God's service. Within three years in the Bible school I met a young lady, formerly miss Erlinda Tabarno who graduated from the same school and after my graduation we married. It was while she was attending Bible school that she understood the assurance of salvation and sincerely accepted Christ as her personal Savior. We were both in the Lord's work when God led us to go to the mission field of Camiguin Island. We knew very well that Camiguin is a predominately Catholic island where people die every day without Christ and God laid a great burden into our hearts to win souls for Him there.
