My wife was raised in a Christian home, and her father was a pastor. As she grew she understood that she could not be saved by her parent's merit and she soon trusted in the Lord. When I was saved my entire life was changed. I received salvation and joy. Because I was young, I had great ambitions and wanted to be a business man, but eventually God touched my heart and gave me a great burden to serve Him. I entered a Bible School in ##### and studied to become a preacher.

Because we lack in funds, we must work in the rice fields to provide food for ourselves. Our monthly need is $60.00 and we receive $6.00 from our church and $7.00 from our self support. The funds you have offered us is a great blessing and like a fortune to us. We will use God's money wisely in efforts of strengthening His church and expanding His gospel throughout our nation.

I have raised my children to know the Lord and to follow Him. Already my oldest daughter is a Sunday School teacher. We, in like manner, train the others to spread the Word of God.

Please pray for us, but in your country, be careful not to reveal our names or locations. In Vietnam, there is still persecution of God's people, and especially of pastors like myself. We need your prayerful considering for our lives and safety each day.

Later I felt the call of God into the ministry. I began going door to door and one day went to a particular house of religious people who were lost. After hearing the gospel they accepted Christ and joined the church. Three years later I married their daughter.
