Support Application

Even if I was born and brought up in a Christian family, I did not receive the Lord in my heart until I came in the city of Oradea for studies. However, when I first came to Oradea to study I spent about three years very far away from the Lord. Often going to discos, restaurants and being in a very bad company. But in that period, the Holy Spirit challenged me and I started to get frightened at the thought that I might die unsaved.

My wife grew up in a Christian family and invited Jesus Christ into her life when she was a teenager. He forgave her and changed her life. After we got married, we felt strongly that God called us in the ministry. After my ordination, she became more involved in church work. Beside the work in the church, she is involved in the ministry with the women.

Since becoming a Christian, I have led about 80 people to Christ and started one church with three mission churches. I have trained 3 men to also be in ministry and they are serving in different areas. I work in a very poor area and we have the only church around for a long area. 99.9% of the people are Eastern Orthodox. I need your help very much. In the last three years my church has grown three times over. We Praise God for His grace which He shows us constantly! God bless you!

What is a sponsorship?

I am a native of Kirlampudi. We are from a low and untouchable caste. We sweep roads and clean lavatories. We live in bamboo houses and we eat rice with simple curries. We have three daughters and two sons. I was also responsible for my mother and father-in-law, so my wife and I decided to put our children in a Christian Children's Home. We went to see them once a month, and took whatever eatables we had for them. The children, as well as those who look after them, are all well disciplined. Eating, reading, bathing and sleeping, are all done with strict discipline. When our children came home, they asked us why we never taught them discipline and they wanted us to stop worshipping idols and to believe on Jesus Christ. We got angry and went to the Home and spoke angrily with the authorities. Our eldest son got fever and he asked me to bring the pastor from the Home to pray for him. My heart did not allow me to go for the pastor and the boy’s condition became very bad. What to do? [Yielded. I went and brought the pastor. He prayed to Jesus to heal my son. My son asked me to say who cured him, Lord Jesus or god Venkateswara. I said, Lord Jesus. He said that Jesus Christ was the True Living God and asked me to worship Him. My wife confessed that Jesus is the real God. I also believed on Jesus and was baptized. After accepting Jesus, I quit my job and started preaching.
