I was by the shops when I heard a Baptist pastor preaching the Word of God. I saw my sins and repented and Jesus saved me. I was baptized after that. Then I joined the church and for about 3 years worked there. I heard the call from the Lord to the ministry, so I enrolled in a Baptist College and got my diploma in theology.
After my salvation, I discussed with my wife what had happened and went with her to the church where she heard the preaching, saw her sins, repented and was saved. It is wonderful to be as one in the ministry serving together.
Currently I am involved in church planting, open-air evangelism, tribal evangelism, discipleship, Bible teaching, slum ministries and other forms of evangelism. I have trained two men to be pastors and have started two new churches. So far, 75 souls have come to know the Lord through my ministry. I have baptized 75 of them.
We live in a one room house made of mud with a thatch roof. Some of our favorite foods include ugali (a corn meal porridge), bread, rice, and tea. I am able to grow some food, the remainder I purchase at the market.
Please pray for us in my ministry that I will accomplish all the things that the Lord has for me to do. Pray for the church for us to be able to win many souls to the Lord. Pray for the Lord to raise up a sponsor for us soon to share in the ministry.
