I, pastor Julius Kiptoo Koimur, was saved in 1984. I did not know much about Jesus Christ though I heard his name being mentioned by preachers in different ways. My former life was a sinful life. I can remember one day I was feeding my cattle and I saw a pastor and two church elders coming towards me. These men of God started to teach me about Jesus. In my heart by that time I was planning to rebuke them but God's Words became stronger and stronger until at last I decided to receive Jesus as my personal Savior. In 1990,I heard a call of God, Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 28:18-19, I was admitted in Eldoret Baptist Bible Institute in 1991, and I graduated in 1994. (I was baptized in 1984).
I work with other preachers reaching different tribal peoples for Christ. I have led 120 people to Christ and baptized 100. I speak Kiswahili and Kalenjin and I work with the Kikuyu, Luhya, Kalenfin and the Turkana. We are working to start new churches in the near future but for now we cannot start churches because of all the tribal clashes. It is difficult to do a lot of evangelism in the area now because of the government regulations.
We grow some of our food and we live in a three-room house made of mud and thatched with iron sheets. To earn a living for my family, I work as a farmer. Your financial help will provide for our family and help us in our ministry. Please pray for our country that many will come to Christ through the conflicts we are having here.

Every 4 months sponsorship funds are sent to the preachers. With it goes a Missionary Report Form for each one to complete and return to our office. After compilation of statistics they are forwarded by mail or email to the sponsors. Below are past report forms from this preacher.
