I heard the Word of the Lord through preaching. I confessed that I was a sinner. I was saved by Jesus Christ and baptized. My call, after being saved, has been to teach the Word of the Lord. I saw the need of preaching to the sinners through the Holy Spirit. I decided to go to Bible school so that I might be taught more and be of more use to the Lord.
My wife was unsaved when we married. When she saw that she was a sinner through the Word of God, she repented and was saved and baptized. She has been called to serve the Lord with me and is a great help for my ministry.
I am involved in church planting, literature distribution, discipleship, evangelism, open-air evangelism, children's ministry and preaching the Word. I have led 250 souls to the Lord and 210 have been baptized. I have also started a church in the Rift Valley and I am training several men in my church now for the ministry.I speak three languages which are tribal languages here. They are Kalenjin, Luhya and Kikuyu.
We live in a house made of mud walls and a roof with iron sheets. There are two rooms. Our favorite food is greens, vegetables and meat. I do grow some of our food, the rest we purchase at the market. I work as a carpenter four hours a week to have money for purchasing food for my family but the rest of my time is given to ministry.
Please pray for us that the Lord will soon supply a sponsor for us so that we may continue our work reaching the many areas that need to hear about the Lord Jesus.
Every 4 months sponsorship funds are sent to the preachers. With it goes a Missionary Report Form for each one to complete and return to our office. After compilation of statistics they are forwarded by mail or email to the sponsors. Below are past report forms from this preacher. They have been modified to protect the financial data of the sponsor.
I was brought up in a Catholic home. Although I lived a sinful life, I had no conviction of my sins until my elder brother shared with me about the cleansing power of Jesus Christ. I had many questions concerning the after life, until I met with a pastor at the Baptist church who shared with me the road to Salvation. It was the happiest moment of my life to come to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus. From that moment, I was involved in bringing people to Christ and was active in church. I had a burden that God wanted me to do something for Him.
